Establishing an agenda for change

How will we improve the lives and futures of our children and families here in Montgomery County? We will do it together by creating a vision, planning the strategies, identifying key needs and measuring the progress toward improving the lives and futures of our children and families here in Montgomery County. Our blueprint will be The Children’s Agenda, with its seven key goals that already reflect the community’s vision of children being safe, healthy, successful in school, prepared for life, and supported by a caring family and neighborhood. Then we’ll build on this vision by developing and implementing a community strategic plan that will continue to expand and strengthen effective strategies and programs that make a difference in our children’s futures. And we will know if these collaborative strategies and programs are making a difference because we will measure the progress of our community’s plan through a newly established data collaborative.
